SURF

SURF is a search portal of the german Federal Institute for Sports Science (BISp) for searching scholarly and professional literature in sport sciences (sports medicine, physical education, philosophy of sport, kinesiology, biomechanics, psycho-motorics, history of sport, sociology of sport, psychology of sport, etc.).

SURF includes four merged BISp databases under one interface: SPOLIT (literature), SPOFOR (projects), SPOMEDIA (audiovisual media) and the Fachinfoführer Sport (Internet sources).

SPOLIT indexes over 140 scholarly and professional journals, books, conference papers, dissertations etc. with bibliographic data and abstracts.

The focus is mainly on German- and English-speaking regions. Coverage includes publications from 1995 onward.
