Springer Protocols is a collection of more than 40,000 full-text articles with detailed descriptions of laboratory protocols of tested and reliable analysis methods in the fields of natural and biomedical sciences including biochemistry, biotechnology, cell biology, bioinformatics, genetics, immunology, radiology, microbiology, molecular medicine, neurology, cancer research, pharmacology, toxicology, botany, etc. It compiles protocols published in the last 30 years in the book series Methods in Molecular Biology and other sources by Humana Press as well as methods from a variety of laboratory manuals such as The Biomethods Handbook, The Proteomics Handbook, and Springer Laboratory Manuals. The detailed and synoptic descriptions are simple to use and the methods are applicable in users' laboratories. Users' notes represent an important factor explaining the purposes for which the methods were used by other researchers and their experiences.
