  1. eBook Business Collection (EBSCO)

    The EBook Business Collection is designed to search for, read, and borrow over 10,000 e-books in the fields of management, marketing, finances, business sciences, and communication as well as research and projects from the above mentioned fields by noteworthy publishers (Oxford University Press, University of Chicago Press, Entrepreneur Press, American Management Association, Wiley, . . .).

    Users may print out and/or send in pdf format to their email address up to 60 pages of individual books. Users can search inside a book by individual words, and an English-Slovene dictionary is available.

    Registered users with their own accounts can borrow e-books for a certain period to their portable devices. The free Adobe Digital Editions program must be installed to read the borrowed books.

EconLit je elektronska bibliografija ameriškega združenja ekonomistov The American Economic Association, ki pokriva preko 120 let strokovne in znanstvene literature s celega sveta o teoriji in praksi na področju ekonomije in sorodnih ved. Zajema bančništvo, finance, računovodstvo, marketing, oglaševanje, industrijo, storitvene dejavnosti, delo, ekonomijo kmetijskih in naravnih virov, industrijsko organizacijio, študije držav, metodologijo in zgodovino ekonomske misli ipd. Obsega več kot 1,4 milijona bibliografskih podatkov z izvlečki o člankih (iz več kot 750 znanstvenih revij), knjigah, prispevkih iz zbornikov ali drugih zbranih del, disertacijah (od leta 1987 dalje), kakor tudi celotna besedila knjižnih recenzij, objavljenih v Journal of Economic Literature od 1993 dalje, in povezave do celotnih besedil 40.000 delovnih dokumentov iz ekonomije. Povezave v bibliografskih zapisih pa hkratnim naročnikom na ABI/INFORM Collection omogočajo še direkten dostop do celotnih besedil člankov iz te zbirke.

    Eigenfactor is a freely accessible web resource that provides an insight into bibliometric data on scientific journals. The data is provided by the Journal Citation Records (JCR), i.e., Web of Science. The main bibliometric indicators are Eigenfactor Score (importance of a journal to the scientific community) and Article Influence Score (the average influence of articles in the journal in the first five years after publishing, which is comparable to the traditional impact factor). Scientific journals can be searched by category, publication year, or title of journal. Titles of science journals can be accessed in the Cost Effectiveness search section, which offers an insight into the importance of a scientific journal relative to the cost as well as to the total impact of the journal; a variety of data visualisations occur linked to Microsoft Academic Search and JSTOR.

It contains over 77,000 titles of journals in all fields, over 46,000 of which are freely accessible. More than 14,000 journals are only accessible electronically. Bibliographic data contains title, ISSN, thematic areas, URL, accessibility, publisher, etc. The service allows for browsing newspapers by title and topic.

    The eZISS digital science-critical publications of Slovenian literature resource offers selected Slovene texts with integrated facsimiles, transcriptions, and scholarly commentary, and in in some cases, audiovisual recordings.

    The eZISS project strives to create a synthesis of three components–historical tradition, ecdotic analysis, and information technology. The resource is used for reading and analysing Slovene literature and contains the e-publications of the Freising Manuscripts, the Škofja Loka Passsion Play, Three Sermons on Language by Anton Martin Slomšek, the correspondence of Žiga Zois, Pesmi o Maji by Alojz Gradnik, and more.

    Encyclopedia Britannica Online Academic Edition includes the entire contents of the printed edition of the Encyclopedia with over 108,000 articles, 35,000 images, illustrations, and more.

    In addition, it contains the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus with over 550,000 entries, Year in Review (overview of events in individual years), 4,000 video and sound recordings, atlas of the world, timeline, full-texts of 220 classical works by 140 authors, 20 systematically presented categories (e.g. Titanic, profiles of 300 important women, Nobel laureates, etc.), 4,000 quotations by famous people, basic and statistical information on the countries of the world, which are mutually comparable.

    Individual articles from the encyclopedia can be augmented with additional content (750 articles from providers like EBSCOHost and ProQuest, 6,000 links to peer-reviewed websites, additional web searches, and more).

    Inside the encyclopedia, users can create their own work space, which enables them to adapt the content to their own needs. They can comment on the content and suggest updates or changes.

    The Encyclopedia of Library and Information Sciences is the 3rd edition (1st ed. and 2nd ed.) of the well-known and established encyclopedia in the fields of librarianship and information sciences, as well as of archival science, museology, publishing, and more. The Encyclopedia contains 565 entries, with more than 400 newly written. It covers the following topic categories: disciplines in the framework of librarianship and information sciences, theories and models, areas of research, institutions, systems and networks, documents and publications, activities and services by disciplines, users, national institutions, and history. Entries treating a similar topic are connected via the Topical Table of Contents. All entries contain numerous citations of articles. Full texts of individual cited articles are either freely accessible on the net or accessible in the collections of various providers such as JSTOR, EMERALD, EBSCO, ScienceDirect, Springer, and more via the OpenURL linker.

    The electronic encyklopedia is accessible at the InformaWorld platform (by the Taylor & Francis publisher). Entries appear in alphabetical order but can also be arranged by authors of articles and publishing date. You can search by full-text, entry, author, etc. Search results are arranged by relevance.
    Articles can be displayed in the HTML and PDF format. References on articles can be added to the selected articles list or directly exported to individual reference management tools (ProCite, EndNote, RefManager, RefWorks); references can also be directly displayed in individual citation formats (MLA, APA, etc.).
