  1. COBIB.SI - vzajemni katalog slovenskih knjižnic

    The COBIB.SI online catalogue database is the result of shared cataloguing of more than 430 Slovenian libraries participating in the COBISS.SI system. Coverage contains almost 4.5 million bibliographic records for monographs (books, maps, pictorial material, videocassettes, audio cassettes, CDs, sheet music) and serials (newspapers, magazines, journals, annuals, and more), and articles mostly from Slovene professional journals.

    Coverage includes ever-increasing data and links to full-text electronic newspapers and electronic books available to certain categories of users such as students and employees, and in some cases, to all members of the library at the locations of the University of Lj, NUK, and CTK. Pre-registration is necessary to directly access licenced electronic newspapers and books from locations outside the UL, CTK, and NUK systems. Click COBIB.SI odd. d. on this site.     Congressional documents from the first 100 years of the U.S. Congress (1774–1875) can be accessed through the Century of Lawmaking site.

  6. Contemporary Authors

    Contemporary Authors contains information on about 130,000 authors from the 20th century onward whose works were either translated into English or published in the United States. Coverage includes authors of fiction (prose, poetry, and drama) as well as non-fiction authors such as scientists, publicists, screenwriters, and others.

    The presentation of authors includes personal information that may include date and place of birth/death, an autobiographical essay, pseudonym, nationality, citizenship, education, political and religious orientation, hobbies, address, family, photograph, and career summary. The database also includes genres, memberships, awards, a complete chronological list of their works, film or stage adaptations, etc., and works in progress. The description is augmented with "sidelights": a biographical portrait of the author’s development, reactions to their work, commentaries on their writing, motivations, personal interests, a selection from interviews, and a list of biographical and critical sources.

    Contemporary Authors are included in the Literature Resource Center. The search interface is available in Slovene.

    The Copper Technical Reference Library is used to search for scientific and professional literature on copper, copper alloys and technologies: production, properties, stability, use, etc. It contains bibliographic data with abstracts of articles from over 3,000 periodical publications, papers from conference proceedings, technical reports, patents, books, and press releases. The database covers literature from 1965 onward, including 5,582 documents from the 1863–1964 period.
